Internal demolition of an existing building to allow for a new fitout to create the new ACG Parnell Early Childhood Centre.
The Childcare Centre consisted of a two-storey building with spaces on the ground floor for a series of separate activity rooms for various age groups of children, with associated bathrooms, sleep rooms, kitchen facilities and offices. The upper floor consisted of staff room, staff non-contact room, and staff bathroom.
The building was of contemporary architectural design with a concrete slab steel frame, aluminium external windows and doors, metal longrun roofing, and concrete blockwork and timber weather board cladding.
Externally we constructed play areas with acoustic perimeter fencing, grass, sandpits, paths, and shade sails.
