The Stage 1 works involved demolishing an existing office space and converting it to new offices for Unisys. The works were undertaken while Unisys were occupying the remaining floor area with noise, dust, security and rubbish removal restrictions in place. The works were completed in 6 weeks and included building a new intertenancy wall, new flooring, partitions, suspended ceilings, alterations to existing services, new lighting throughout and creating a new entrance with steel framed doors and finishes. Once Unisys had moved into their new offices, we then commenced the stage 2 works.
The Stage 2 works involved taking the now redundant office space and converting back to base build for DNZ. Scope included new flooring, suspended ceilings, alterations to services, new lighting and upgrade of finishes.
Throughout both stages of works we worked closely with all parties to ensure works were completed on time, with minimal disruption to staff. Both contracts were managed by Jones Lang Laselle.
