Internal demolition of an existing building to allow for a new fitout to create the new ACG Parnell Early Childhood Centre.
Works included; removal of existing monolithic cladding, repairs and replacement to framing as required, re-cladding over new vented cavity system, construction of new weather-screen walls to the entrance way, and alterations to the children’s bag bay area.
As with many school projects, we had a tight programme to complete the works with as little disruption as possible. We were able to co-ordinate the works such that the school was able to remain fully operational throughout the process and we were in regular contact with the NAKA management at head office, and the school’s head teachers on site to ensure things went smoothly. Any noisy or disruptive works were completed outside of the teaching hours.
