The details
The foundations and floor slab are constructed from reinforced concrete.
The building frame is structural steel.
External walls are precast concrete panel with aluminium doors and windows and roller shutter doors for boat and trailer access. Dampalon was used to construct a wide fascia to two sides of the building to provide a smooth surface for the application of signage.
The roof is a combination of Colorsteel metal roofing and translucent roofing sheets to provide natural lighting.
Offices, lunchrooms, storage rooms and ablutions facilities are provided to all areas as well as a large mezzanine storage area to the Service area.
The building is fully serviced with water, power/data, air conditioning (Offices and Lunchrooms), fire protection and incoming fibre.
Two large rainwater storage tanks are included in the design to provide water storage for washing down of boats and other serving activities.
Large concrete yards and provided for staff/customer parking and the storage of boats and trailers that are being serviced.
Fencing and landscaping were completed by the Client.
