This project is a new build office and warehouse development for the Auckland International Airport consisting of two warehouse spaces and two office complexes for two seperate tenants.
The new cold store is a 700m2 space constructed out of PIR panel it adjoins to an existing space repurposed as an ELA.
The new PIR cold store is construction within a new structure of precast panels on two elevations, existing building on the remaining two sides with roof structure being steel portal frame construction with profile metal cladding to the walls and roof. (Shade roof).
Construction of the new cold store in the rear corner or the site optimising a single ring road while accommodating the new tenant’s daily operation made communication and planning at the forefront.
