A large format office, warehousing, cool store & distribution centre for Bidfood’s ever-expanding portfolio. With 17m high stud, cool stores, chillers and ELA, this will be Bidfood’s flagship distribution centre. Including a large temperature controlled distribution centre complete with offices and yard areas.
The construction of this building included a traditional distribution centre format, consisting of: concrete floor slabs, precast tilt slabs, structural steel frame, PIR panels, and profiled metal cladding and roofing. This project was completed on time and further cemented our growing relationship as Bidvest’s contractor of choice and Q Construction’s ability to deliver projects nationwide. Due to tight precast timelines, Q poured & tilted 50% of the panels, mainly the larger panels up to 17m in length.
Bidfood NZ has been involved in more than 14 construction projects over the past 10 years - these have been completed by a mix of large, well known industry players, and smaller, niche market operators. The projects handled by Q Construction sit comfortably at or near the top of this list, for customer satisfaction and quality of construction. I would thus have no hesitation in recommending Q Construction.
