This was the transformation of a run-down building, into a fully functioning supermarket whilst retaining many of the existing industrial features and enhancing the buildings character.
One of the first things to happen in this vast empty room was to apply black paint to the entire ceiling/roof space to a perfect line 3 metres from the floor. This draws the eye to the aesthetically pleasing features in store rather than the industrial functionality of the roof space.
Then all the wall linings and designer partitions were installed, each area designed with its own feel and mood. Bespoke painted features compliment the overall atmosphere. Added to this are the floor finishes – large areas of polished concrete are broken with feature vinyl plank flooring of different finishes.
A great result from a well run fast paced program.
